Paua partners with Roam

EV charging platform Paua has partnered with Roam Charging on over 800 EV connectors across more than 200 sites, combining a mix of reliable AC charging and high-performance rapid charging.

Roam Charging’s network offers a blend of lower-powered AC charging for longer stops and higher-powered rapid charging for drivers needing a quick turnaround. The flexibility “aligns seamlessly with Paua’s mission to support fleet operators in managing their EVs efficiently, no matter their charging needs”, it said.

The integration of Roam Charging builds on Paua’s roaming network with the aim to ensure business fleets have access to convenient and reliable charging points across the UK.

With charging hubs installed at locations such as workplaces hotels, retail  outlets and other key destinations, it also aims to reduce range anxiety and downtime for drivers.

Roam’s network is now fully integrated into the Paua app, giving users the ability to locate, access, and pay for charging seamlessly. Paua also consolidates all charging sessions into a single monthly invoice, providing total cost transparency for businesses.

Niall Riddell, CEO and Co-founder of Paua said:

“This partnership with Roam is another step forward in Paua’s commitment to simplifying EV fleet management,”

“The diversity of Roam’s network ensures that our users can access dependable charging solutions, whether they’re stopping briefly or parking for longer durations.”

Roam’s CTO, Manjit Notay said:

“Roam Integrating with market leaders like Paua enables us to ensure our chargers remain visible for the coming generations of EV drivers. Roam wasn’t built in a day after all, but it’s strides like this which will support the EV adoption commercially as well as for consumers”
