WPD pledges ‘same day’ or ‘next day’ connection for domestic EV chargers and heat pumps

Western Power Distribution has pledged most new connections for domestic electric vehicle (EV) chargers and heat pumps will now be approved on the same day or the next day, following WPD’s introduction of a new, streamlined system for processing and completing domestic connections for the installation of low carbon technologies (LCTs).

More than 30 public EV charging points now available across Medway

Residents are now able to use 34 newly installed electric vehicle charging points in three council-owned car parks across Medway. The charging points were installed by Connected Kerb and to use them, residents can download an app and follow the instructions to pay for an EV charging session.
