Almost 200 new electric vehicle (EV) charging points, spanning 80 sites, have been installed across Camden by TotalEnergies.
The company has installed 170 new charge points including 18 rapid charge points delivering 100 kW.
According to TotalEnergies, these new chargers will be powered entirely by electricity from renewable energy sources.
With these additional devices, TotalEnergies now operates more than 3,000 charge points in London, including over 500 EV-dedicated bays in Camden, and confirms its position as one of the key partners for public authorities in their transition to electric mobility.
TotalEnergies offers some of the lowest charging rates in the market, starting from just 43p/kWh in Camden.
Nicolas Garnier, Managing Director of TotalEnergies Charging Solutions UK, said:
“We are delighted to continue supporting the uptake of EVs in Camden with these additional 80 sites, providing a wide range of power options from 22 to 100 kW. Whether it is for private hire drivers, fleet drivers or Camden residents, TotalEnergies ensures seamless and convenient charging options across Camden.”
Councillor Adam Harrison at London Borough of Camden, commented:
“The new rapid charge points installed by TotalEnergies will help Camden achieve our Net Zero targets, in line with Camden’s Climate Action Plan, with attractive pricing and a reliable network supporting the charging needs for thousands of people in the borough.”
