Paua has partnered with Zaptec to provide a fully-connected EV charging solution for fleets spanning home, workplace, depot and public charging.
The partnership brings together Paua’s charge card, payment and reimbursement platform with charging manufacturer Zaptec’s intelligent charging hardware and fleet management capabilities to create a single, integrated solution.
It comes as charging is increasingly becoming a multi-location challenge, with employees charging company vehicles at home, through public charging, and workplace and depot infrastructure.
Zaptec chargers share charging session data with Paua using in-built energy meters, enabling businesses to automatically calculate charging costs based on an employee’s electricity tariff, and accurately reimburse business mileage.
In addition, Zaptec Pro allows multiple chargers to be installed using a single cable, reducing material usage by up to 70%, and installation labour by more than 60%. Combined with dynamic load balancing technology, fleets can charge multiple vehicles simultaneously, including cars, vans and future commercial EV, without requiring upgrades to existing electrical infrastructure.
The partnership also positions businesses for the future of energy management, with Zaptec Go 2 being Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) ready, enabling fleets to act as distributed energy assets.
