myenergi opens new UK headquarters

Electric vehicle charging pioneer myenergi has officially opened its state-of-the-art UK headquarters in Stallingborough, Lincolnshire.

As part of a celebratory event for staff, stakeholders and the local community, the ribbon was cut by Cllr David Hasthorpe, Mayor of North East Lincolnshire; and Mayoress Sandra Hasthorpe.

The company, which was founded in 2016 and has grown to a team of more than 200 staff members in just five years, now has plans to add an advanced manufacturing centre to the site.

Renowned for its unique range of renewable energy products for eco-smart home management, myenergi recently sold its 100,000th unit. With subsidiaries in Ireland, Germany and The Netherlands, the business is taking the world’s home tech market by storm – but is committed to its roots and positioning Lincolnshire as a hub for innovative renewable technologies.

Indeed, as the business continues to expand, plans are already underway to add a 45,000 sq ft advanced manufacturing centre to the Stallingborough site, which will centralise production and enable myenergi to further optimise production of its product range. Set to be operational by July 2022, the new facility will enable myenergi to triple its production output and further expand its product portfolio.

Jordan Brompton, co-founder and CMO of myenergi, commented: “Our inspiration has always been to create a positive impact, push the boundaries of possibility and change the world through pioneering green technologies. 18 months after initially breaking ground, we’re delighted to have officially opened our UK headquarters. The space is modern, vibrant and designed with staff wellbeing firmly in mind. It really is one of the region’s stand-out office spaces and will hopefully prove an inspirational space for our team.

“Plans to build the facility started a few years ago. At this point, we were on our first generation zappi and our international footprint was still limited. Since breaking ground, we’ve continued to grow rapidly, with demand increasing on a daily basis for our innovative product portfolio.

“As such, we recently announced plans to expand our new HQ and relocate our production operations to the Stallingborough site – a multi-million-pound investment that will allow us to dramatically increase unit volumes and further expand our product offer.

“I’d like to personally thank each and every one of our team members for their hard work, passion, enthusiasm and dedication. They have proven instrumental to our continued growth and I can’t thank them enough. I’d also like to extend our thanks to Cllr David Hasthorpe for opening the new facility.”

Cllr David Hasthorpe, Mayor of North East Lincolnshire, added: “It was my honour and privilege to declare myenergi’s fabulous flagship headquarters open for business. Since being founded in 2016, the company has achieved an almost unbelievable vision that has grown into a reality.

“As the company’s remarkable journey continues, I would like to wish the team continued success in achieving their goals. The tenacity, drive and ambition shown by both Lee and Jordan is inspirational. Pioneer Park is an apt name for the very first and vitally important company to be based here.”
