We caught up with Patrick Dunne, Director of Group Property, FM, Procurement and EV Ventures at Sainsbury’s plc at the Transport + Energy Forum last November to ask for his reflections on the event and for his views on the delivery of decarbonisation.

In this video, Patrick says that consumer confidence is at the heart of what Sainsbury’s are doing, alongside working closely with government. He explains that the consumer needs to have the confidence that  “what we are doing is the quantum leap that’s needed to move everyone across.”

Commenting on the forum, Patrick said: “Today’s event is a great opportunity for the variety of people within the transport and energy industry to come together, debate, discuss and actually connect. I think it’s really wonderful that these events happen because we all get on with working in our daily lives and I think this is a great opportunity to learn and share.”
