Compleo set to launch campaign at T+E Forum
Compleo is set to launch a new campaign urging universities, colleges and schools to grab their share of a government grant before it closes in March 2025.
Compleo are proud to be launching this campaign at the Transport + Energy Forum at Warwick University on 21 November, where they will also be exhibiting. Book your place to attend the event here.
Its Charge up your Campus campaign is bringing awareness to this little known fund which allows academic institutions to claim up to £100,000 towards the installation of EV charging points.
With budgets under more constraints than ever before, the grant offers institutions a way to electrify their car parks, with minimal outlay.
And while institutions have to apply before 31 March 2025, they have 180 days to spend the voucher, providing the flexibility to put the costs into next financial year.
With experience with institutions such as Teesside University, King’s School Canterbury, The Diocese of Oxford schools & York College, Compleo know the unique challenges that the education sector has.
And with over 15 years of EV charging experience, they are well placed to help universities, colleges and schools add EV charging without getting in the way of the day job.
This grant is for state-funded schools and education institutions to install electric vehicle charge point sockets at their site(s).
Institutions can get 75% off the cost to buy and install chargepoints up to a maximum of £2,500 per socket and 40 sockets across all sites including any applications made previously via the Workplace Charging Scheme.
Contact the star of the video, Luke Fleary-Griffiths, to arrange a meeting with him to discuss options.
