Transport + Energy Forum discussed on podcast

The founder of transportandenergy.com recently featured on a podcast where he highlighted the upcoming Transport + Energy Forum – an event which will bring together key stakeholder groups to discuss the actions that need to be taken to reach net zero.

With more than two-thirds of emissions from energy production, and a third of all emissions from transport, decarbonising these two sectors will lead the net zero agenda across the world.

The idea behind the inaugural Transport + Energy Forum event, which is taking place on Thursday (17th November) at the Birmingham Conference & Events Centre, is to unite professionals from both industries to help accelerate this transition. Focusing on what and how, the Forum event will set out the breadth of the challenge faced with a real focus on actionable solutions that can be taken now.

Transport + Energy founder Alec Peachey spoke to Paul Hutton, presenter of Highways Voices – a weekly podcast which is delivered by the transport news website Highways News.

Alec was invited to speak about the brand and highlighted the importance of both the sectors working together to help meet net zero. He also highlighted the upcoming Forum event, what delegates can expect from the event and the importance of taking action to decarbonise now.
