Kerbo Charge is for people that want to get an EV but don’t have a driveway.
40% of UK households don’t have a driveway and this a big problem for EV adoption because these residents must either use expensive and inconvenient public charge points, or risk an accident by trailing a cable over the pavement to charge their car.
To solve this problem we install a ‘through-pavement’ EV charging channel so residents can safely charge from their home supply. When residents want to charge they simply lift the lid, insert their cable, and the specially designed lid closes behind just like a zip. The cable is then safely enclosed and won’t trip anyone over.
We’re live with 31 UK local authorities and a further 20 trials are confirmed – we have some useful experience to share about how to roll this product out where you are.
