Humax EV Charging has partnered with Rightcharge to deliver scalable home charging solution for UK fleets.

The move will see the integration of the Humax MX7 Vehicle-to-Grid ready EV charger with the Rightcharge payments platform creates a unified ecosystem for business charging at home.

The system supports company cars, fleet vehicles and business-owned vehicles, while ensuring accurate reimbursement and full separation between business and personal use.

For accurate business charging reimbursements at home, the Humax MX7 uses advanced vehicle identification using ISO 15118-compliant PLC technology. The charger recognises a vehicle’s unique ID as soon as it is plugged in.

If the vehicle does not match the registered company car, the Rightcharge platform can automatically ring-fence the cost or block the transaction.

Jeff Kim, president of Humax, said:

“Together, Humax and Rightcharge are redefining how fleets manage EV charging – turning home charging from an administrative challenge into a controlled, transparent and cost-efficient solution.

“Suitable for organisations of all sizes, the Humax MX7 is an intelligent, V2G ready charging solution purpose-built for fleet operators. Our collaboration with Rightcharge extends access to efficient business charging reimbursement to a wider range of vehicles, addressing previous limitations caused by restricted vehicle data availability.

“As a result, more drivers and businesses can benefit from a streamlined, compliant and efficient approach to home charging.”

Charlie Cook, CEO & founder at Rightcharge, said:

“Humax is a particularly special addition to the rapidly growing lineup of Rightcharge compatible chargers. Both Rightcharge and Humax share a keen desire to unlock the true potential of electric fleets as revenue-generating assets.

“We are excited to explore the future of fleet electrification with Humax; from automatic vehicle detection to grid flexibility and V2G.”
