With over two decades of experience, Paul is the Head of Transport Innovation in NHS England’s Transport Team. Beginning his career as a frontline Paramedic, he spent 16 years in Yorkshire Ambulance Service, including seven and a half years with the Hazardous Area Response Team. Now leveraging extensive expertise in frontline clinical care and emergency preparedness, resilience, and response (EPRR), Paul is dedicated to advancing sustainable transport solutions. Leading initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint across the NHS fleet, he is committed to collaboration and continuous improvement, enhancing both fleet efficiency and patient care outcomes.
