Ed Gibbs is Head of UK Government Relations at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), where he leads engagement with the UK Government, Parliament and key policy stakeholders on issues affecting the automotive sector and JLR’s long-term growth. He is responsible for shaping and delivering JLR’s UK public policy strategy across areas including industrial policy, trade, net zero transition, advanced manufacturing, supply chains, innovation and investment. Ed leads JLR’s UK Government Affairs team and works closely with senior business leaders, policymakers and industry partners to support the company’s strategic priorities and investment ambitions in the UK. Based at JLR’s Gaydon headquarters, he advises the business on political, regulatory and economic developments, helping ensure JLR remains well positioned in a rapidly changing policy environment. Prior to his current role, Ed held a number of public affairs, stakeholder engagement and policy-facing positions, building extensive experience working at the intersection of business, government and politics.
