Transport + Energy Forum has announced that all of their fully funded places for local authorities have now been booked, with over 40 council officers confirmed.

The Forum has a special focus for local authorities, with a session on the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) fund, which will be particularly pertinent with the first funding deadline approaching, as well as how to take action over clean air zones and insight on collaboration with charge point operators.

Local authority planners, strategy managers and project officers involved with climate change, decarbonisation, EVs and transport will be attending from a wide geographical spread including Cornwall, Kent, London, West Yorkshire, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Milton Keynes, Leicestershire, Solihull, Suffolk, Blackpool and Northumberland.

The Forum will host the newly launched Transport + Energy Awards as part of the networking evening dinner, which include an award for the best local authority charging scheme. The shortlisted authorities are Cornwall Council, Coventry City Council, London Borough of Barnet and ubitricity in partnership with Liverpool City Council.

The packed agenda features over 20 speakers across 18 sessions: a mix of presentations, panel discussions and TED style talks. A stellar line up of speakers includes Chris Skidmore MP, clean air campaigner Rosamund Adoo-Kissi-Debra, President of National Grid Electricity Distribution Cordi O’Hara and Joint Head of the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) Lizzie Culwick.

There is limited final availability for delegate places, with a range of flexible options available.
