Private Sector

To be eligible for a fully funded place, private sector attendees must meet the following criteria:

Organisation profile and fleet scale

  • Directly manage/operate a fleet of 50+ vehicles (cars, LCVs/vans, or HGVs)
  • OR be a fleet leasing, logistics or infrastructure partner managing vehicles for multiple clients
  • Be a recognised brand, national or regional organisation

Fleet electrification interest or activity

  • Be actively developing or executing a fleet decarbonisation or net zero strategy
  • Have a current or upcoming requirement to scale charging infrastructure, transition to zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs), or implement fleet energy-management solutions


Seniority and influence

  • Hold a senior leadership or strategic advisory role with specific oversight of transport, logistics or sustainability. Examples: Fleet Director, Head of Logistics, Transport Manager, Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) or Operations Director
  • Hold budgetary responsibility or strategic influence over the procurement of vehicles, infrastructure or decarbonisation technology

Please note that we are unable to offer free tickets to junior personnel or those outside fleet/transport roles.

Public sector

To be eligible for a funded place, public sector attendees must meet the following criteria:

Organisation type

  • Working for a local or combined authority
  • Working for central government, for example DfT, DESNZ, Office for Zero Emission Vehicles
  • Working for a transport authority or executive
  • Working for the NHS (estates, facilities or sustainability) or the emergency services (police, fire or ambulance services)

Strategic Role: Fleet & infrastructure

  • Planning: Hold a role involving the strategic planning and implementation of zero-emission infrastructure. This includes (but is not limited to) departments such as: Highways, Environment, Climate Change, Urban Planning, and Energy
  • Fleet Management: Directly responsible for the transition of “own-account” fleets (refuse vehicles, social care vans, medical transport) to zero-emission alternatives

 Seniority and influence

  • Role: Hold a senior advisory, managerial, or directorial role (Head of Fleet, Sustainability Lead, Carbon Reduction Manager, or Chief Operating Officer)
  • Impact: Be able to influence strategic direction, procurement or budgetary allocation for decarbonisation projects within their organisation or region

The forum is being held at Warwick Conferences, at the University of Warwick, on the outskirts of Coventry.

Getting there:

Postcode CV4 7SH

  • By car: use the postcode CV4 7SH and follow the signs for Lakeside Village then for the venue, The Slate.
  • Parking: there is ample parking and charging onsite
  • By train: Coventry is the most convenient train station for most visitors, from where it’s easy to get a taxi or bus to the venue.
  • By bus: there are regular buses from Coventry City Centre, Coventry railway station and Leamington Spa.
  • By plane: the closest airport is Birmingham International Airport which is just a 20 minute taxi ride.
