Shane Brennan is Chief Executive Officer of ChargeUK, the voice of the EV charging industry. Brennan joined the trade association in August 2026 from the Global Cold Chain Alliance, where he held a global policy role for the three years, having previously led the Cold Chain Federation in the UK as Chief Executive.
With over 20 years of experience in associations across retail, rural business, logistics and energy, Brennan is leading ChargeUK through its next phase of growth. In addition to overseeing ChargeUK’s advocacy activity, ensuring the charging sector is heard by government and policymakers, he is also leading on the organisations strategy to grow its influence and impact.
