Richard works in the EV team at London Councils, where he supports London Boroughs in the planning, procurement, and implementation of EV charging infrastructure. His role involves strategic engagement with key stakeholders across the capital to facilitate the development of an equitable and effective charging network.
Richard plays a key role in informing and supporting London Boroughs on the use of cross-pavement EV charging solutions. As part of his work at London Councils, he co-authored the report “Cross-Pavement Solutions for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure”, which provides policy guidance for local authorities navigating the complexities of cross-pavement charging. The report identifies the policy, technical, and operational challenges presented by these solutions, while also highlighting current best practice and benefits.
