The finalists for the third edition of the Transport + Energy Awards have officially been announced, celebrating outstanding achievements across the transport and energy sectors.
Schemes, projects, programmes and people represented in this year’s awards spotlight the vision, innovation, and determination demonstrated by individuals, organisations, and partnerships driving change across the industry.
They also demonstrate the foundation stone of Transport + Energy – the collaboration and cross-working across the two sectors – and the innovative drive towards net zero, sustainability and zero-emission vehicle goals, across the private and public sectors.
Fittingly, many of the finalists also represent the core theme of this year’s T+E Forum in November, which will focus on the idea of moving from commitment to certainty.
This year saw a number of new awards, including best charging site, team of the year, best private sector fleet partnership, and the impact award, which recognises an individual for their exceptional long-term contributions to or impact on the transport and energy sectors.
The awards will take place on the evening of the Transport + Energy Forum on 20 November at Warwick Conferences.
Transport + Energy Founder and Editorial Director Alec Peachey, said:
“Our awards not only raise the profile of standout projects and teams, but also celebrate the contributions of collaborators and stakeholders.
“The finalists this year, yet again, demonstrate the outstanding work undertaken across the sectors in delivering on sustainability, net zero and zero-emission goals.
“Judges were particularly impressed with the range and quality of the schemes and projects, which reveals how much the transport and energy industries have developed their objectives to meet the challenge of decarbonisation.
“The awards promises to be an exciting night, with finalists and winners benefiting from a coordinated marketing campaign that we will run across multiple channels before, during, and after the awards evening.”
