A common reason that companies don’t enter industry awards is assuming it the process takes a long time, but an entry to the Transport + Energy Awards will only take around an hour.

A Transport + Energy Awards entry does not require a design agency, a lengthy submission document or weeks of preparation. The entry form asks you to describe your project or contribution, explain the impact it has had, and provide any supporting evidence. Most entries can be written in an hour by someone who already knows the work well.

What the judges are looking for is not polish, it is substance. Real-world impact, measured outcomes, honest description of the challenge and how it was met. The panel includes council officers who commission infrastructure and fleet managers who operate it. They read entries with that experience in mind.

The entry deadline is looming. If your organisation has delivered something worth recognising this year — a charging network, an energy project, a fleet transition, a campaign, a partnership, an individual contribution — make sure you enter before Monday 24th August.

Winning is just the beginning

Finalists and winners receive a dedicated editorial campaign across T+E’s platform — before, during and after the ceremony on 12 November. That means coverage in the T+E weekly newsletter, read by more than 3,000 subscribers across local authorities, fleet operators, charge point operators, energy networks, OEMs and consultancies.

It also means social coverage reaching 25,000+ followers. And it means being part of the permanent editorial record of who has delivered what in this sector in 2026.
