Olly Craughan joined DPD in 2012, serving as an Operations Manager, Depot Manager, and General Manager before transitioning to lead DPD’s sustainability strategy in January 2020.

As Head of Sustainability at DPD UK, Olly has led decarbonisation initiatives that have reduced total emissions by over 43.6% since 2020. Key achievements include expanding the EV fleet from 149 vehicles to over 3,900 by the end of 2024, managing the electric charging infrastructure program, transitioning the transport fleet predominantly to HVO fuel, and trialing electric Class 1 vehicles.

DPD’s commitment to sustainability also extends to its facilities, which are powered by 100% renewable electricity. Furthermore, the company ensures that 100% of its waste avoids landfill, with over 90% being reused or recycled. DPD also supports biodiversity and environmental projects through its innovative Eco Fund, financed by circular economy initiatives in waste recycling.
