Transport + Energy has announced a renewed partnership with The AA, which includes advertising, content and sponsorship of their Fleet Electrification Forum, Transport + Energy Forum and awards.
The AA is the UK’s largest motoring organisation, which was founded in 1905. From setting up their first motorbike patrols to piloting ‘connected cars’, their unique history embraces new technology and innovations to serve their 14 million members.
The AA supported the Transport + Energy Forum in 2024, where Edmund King, President of The AA said:
“What I like about this forum is that it’s looking for solutions and that’s what we need to do. We’ve talked enough over the last ten years about electrification, now we need to act, and I think this conference is helping to facilitate that”
Commenting on the renewed partnership James Starling, Business Services Director at The AA said:
“We are delighted to be aligning with Transport + Energy’s events to galvanise our campaign to help deliver decarbonisation across the sector. We are focused on testing and scaling up our commercial vehicle fleet, as well as leading the way in enabling our call out fleet to deal with every vehicle, as technology develops at pace in electric vehicles.
“Our partnership across the new Fleet Electrification Forum and the established T+E Forum and Awards gives us a platform to supplement our campaigns as well as encourage collaboration with key stakeholders from across the sector, to push the decarbonisation agenda.”
Alec Peachey, Founder and Editorial Director, Transport + Energy said:
“We are excited to be working so closely with The AA across our events. The AA is very active in its campaigns to increase public awareness, bust the myths around EVs and adopt the latest technologies across their own fleet. As part of our partnership, we will be running a series of content pieces around how the sector can move swiftly from action to delivery, as well as news stories and latest opinions from the organisation. We are looking forward to working with the team over the coming months.”
Regular users and subscribers to Transport + Energy will see advertising, content and profile for The AA over the next year on the website, alongside their participation onstage at the Fleet Electrification Forum on 9 July and the Transport + Energy Forum and Awards on 20 November, both at Warwick Conferences.
Duncan Webb, Fleet Director at The AA, will be speaking at this year’s Fleet Electrification Forum.
