Following the Transport + Energy (T+E) Forum, the brand has announced its evolution in 2025, as it reiterates its mission to facilitate the sectors’ journey to net zero.
The brand has strengthened its core objectives through a refreshed digital presence, continuing to deepen its offer to readers and partners, and showcasing its ongoing commitment to the decarbonisation of transport and energy.
In its mission statement, T+E has said that it aims to deliver “unbiased and reliable insights to help accelerate the transition to decarbonised transport and net zero”.
The evolution comes at a critical time as media misinformation about electric vehicles continues. It means reliable, unbiased information like that supplied by T+E has become vital.
It also comes as the transition away from petrol and diesel vehicles accelerates towards important milestones, including legally-binding national and local government targets, with the need for collaboration across sectors and government needed like never before.
The brand is also promoting its six key objectives, which are the foundation of its content mission:
- Facilitate collaboration between transport and energy sectors to help achieve net zero
- Develop content which helps to educate, stimulate ideas, debate, and actions
- Promote skills opportunities within sectors to a younger and diverse workforce
- Be technology-agnostic and support the notion that there is no ‘one size fits all’ on journey to net zero
- Commit to using plain English so that readers understand messages
- Ensure that the voices of consumers are heard
The new digital presence is a significant evolution for the brand. It will see the delivery of news, insight, partner content and information about events, as the two sectors accelerate their journeys to net zero.
It ensures a fresh, clean digital design with easy-to-consume content, which is in line with its commitment to delivering messages that readers can understand.
The news comes as Transport + Energy is also expanding its face-to-face activities this year. Alongside the flagship Forum at the end of 2025, it is introducing the Fleet Electrification Forum, which will see leaders in the space from across the public and private sectors come together to discuss the pressing issues facing the transition for fleet managers and operators.
In addition, the brand will be producing a series of Transport + Energy Explains webinars.
Founder and Editorial Director of Transport + Energy, Alec Peachey, commented:
“As we move into the next phase of delivery for net zero transport, Transport + Energy will be at the centre of this journey.
“It will be delivering the crucial insight, whether through news, events and other insightful content, to help the two sectors deepen their collaboration and understand the needs of the industry at this critical moment.
“A good example is our upcoming Delivery Plan from the T+E Forum, which we recently directly placed into the hands of central government. It showcases our commitment to facilitating the transport and energy sectors in their decarbonisation journeys.
“Ultimately, it will be through reliable, unbiased reporting and education through insightful content, which will stimulate ideas, debate and ensure action can be turned into delivery.”
