E.ON selects AMPECO for chargepoint business

European public Charge Point Operator (CPOs) E.ON Drive Infrastructure (EDRI) has selected AMPECO’s EV charging management platform as the backend solution for its business.

AMPECO product roadmap prioritises flexibility and extensibility, which enables EDRI to future-proof its charging solutions and build powerful APIs, allowing for differentiation in an increasingly competitive market, it said.

In addition to its technical strengths, AMPECO was also selected for its customer service, with a team providing “deep industry knowledge and responsiveness” which “proved invaluable during the complex migration of EDRI’s extensive charging network”, it said.

EDRI, which has a network of more than 6,000 public EV charging points in 11 European countries, plans to add 1,000 new high-power charging points in the upcoming years.
