Electric vehicle charge point management software company Fuuse has announced Claire Miller has joined the company as a non-executive director and advisor.

Miller is a respected figure in the e-mobility and energy community and will support and advise Fuuse as it continues to develop and bring its EV charging and energy products and features to market, it said.

Previously Director of Technology and Innovation at Octopus Electric Vehicles, she was a founding member of the EV leasing business, a contributor to the Electroverse roaming solution, and led the delivery of Powerloop, the first domestic vehicle-to-grid (V2G) service.

Her expertise and insight will add value to CEO Michael Gibson and the board as they tackle key issues in energy transition and expand into new international markets, the firm said.

On her new role as non-executive director, Miller commented: “The fast and widespread deployment of charging infrastructure is critical to build confidence in the transition to electric vehicles, for consumers and commercial fleets alike. But installing charge points is only the start.

“Delivering reliable, accessible and smart charging experiences is critical to unlocking the full value of electric vehicles. I’m delighted to join the board and work with Michael and the team developing the solutions that unlock this next stage of the electric age.”

Michael Gibson, CEO of Fuuse, said: “Claire’s fantastic insight and knowledge of the EV and energy industries shines from her at every turn. Few people have done more to progress the industry in the UK and I’m absolutely delighted she’s agreed to join the team. Really looking forward to working together to accelerate our work on transition to an electric future.”
