Watch the Transport + Energy Forum 2023 highlights video

The highlights video from the 2023 Transport + Energy Forum has now been released.

Our Forum this year examined the need for the transport and energy sectors to move further and faster to meet the challenge of decarbonisation.

The event featured a stellar line up of more than 30 speakers, with keynotes from Chris Skidmore MP and clean air campaigner Rosamund Adoo-Kissi-Debrah CBE, alongside high level speakers from National Grid, National Highways and OZEV.

The packed agenda featured 18 sessions, including presentations, TED style talks, panel discussions and networking.

Presentations included updates from National Grid and OZEV, lively panel discussions covering how to accelerate the transition, speeding up connections, plus presentations on accessibility transitions, the communications challenge and enabling affordability.

There was a special focus for delegates from local authorities, with sessions on the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) fund, how to take action over clean air zones and insight on collaboration with charge point operators.

National Grid sponsored the event for the first time. Our other sponsors included Char.gy, Trojan Energy, ElectriX, The AA, Fastned, Meel Group in partnership with EV Civils Solutions, SWARCO, Motability Operations and Direct Line Group.

Transport + Energy Forum brought together over 200 leaders from a wide range of organisations, including government decision makers, local authorities, consultancies, construction and engineering companies, transport planners, vehicle manufacturers and technology innovators.

The Forum also hosted the newly launched Transport + Energy Awards as part of the networking evening dinner.

In 2024, the focus will be on ‘moving from action to delivery’ as our path to net zero evolves. Keep an eye on the website and our social media channels for further announcements.
