New destination charging from RAW Charging has been installed at Bentley Bridge in Wolverhampton as part of the company’s on-going roll-out of infrastructure.
The site includes 4 AC bays and 18 high-power DC bays at the leisure facility, which includes Hollywood Bowl, Cineworld, Wagamama, Nando’s and Tim Hortons.
RAW delivers turnkey charging solutions including planning, grid connection, installation, operations and maintenance, to turn underutilised spaces into income-generating infrastructure that supports long-term sustainability and ESG goals.
Its portfolio spans hosts such as the National Trust, Merlin Entertainments (including Alton Towers Resort and LEGOLAND) and McArthurGlen, with rollouts also underway with the Royal Horticultural Society.
Bentley Bridge joins RAW’s £24.5 million, 20-year partnership with Landsec to deliver 1,000 new charging bays across 28 of the UK’s most-visited retail and leisure destinations, with over 150 bays already delivered.
Alongside Landsec, RAW is rolling out an £11 million ultra-rapid trade-focused network with B&Q, with the first wave installed at B&Q Cheltenham, Sidcup, Boston, Stanmore and Galashiels, and up to 28 additional stores across England and Wales over the next 12 months.
Across its wider network, RAW installed over 400 new charging bays in 2025, and now powers more than 400,000 electric journeys per year.
Jason Simpson, CEO, RAW Charging, said:
“We’re excited to bring our ultra‑rapid charging experience to Bentley Bridge. This hub delivers the speed, reliability and convenience drivers expect at one of the region’s most visited retail and leisure destinations. By partnering with leading property owners, we’re making sustainable journeys simpler and helping accelerate the UK’s transition to zero‑emission travel.”
Mark Welsby, Centre Manager, Bentley Bridge Leisure Park, said:
“We’re thrilled to partner with RAW to bring new electric vehicle charging bays to Bentley Bridge. Our aim is to ensure visitors can fully enjoy everything we offer, with the peace of mind that their electric vehicles can be recharged safely while they enjoy our restaurants and leisure activities.
