Bags packed for holiday? Make sure ahead of the great getaway this August that you get an entry into the Transport + Energy Awards 2026.
With a wide range of categories available for entry, the T+E Awards offer a number of opportunities to demonstrate your best-in-class work across the last year.
Held at Warwick Conferences on the evening of 12 November, after the flagship Transport + Energy Forum, the event celebrates the sectors as they face the complex challenges that demand innovation and collaboration as the decarbonisation agenda accelerates.
This year, we’ve expanded to 15 categories, introducing two new awards, the Quentin Willson campaign of the year award and Energy network innovation project of the year.
Now in their fourth year, our awards celebrate and recognise excellence across the transport and energy sectors, honouring the projects, partnerships and people driving progress. They are a must-enter and a must-win.
Entering can elevate your organisation’s profile, showcasing the teams, collaborators and stakeholders behind successful delivery.
Finalists and winners benefit from a comprehensive marketing campaign across our channels – before, during and after the ceremony – maximising visibility and industry recognition.
Meet your judges
The credibility of an award is heavily weighted by who is judging it.
The Transport + Energy Awards judging panel is made up of named, senior practitioners who have real-world experience of the challenges entries will describe.
This year’s panel includes:
- Katie Pudney, Electric Vehicle and Charging Strategy Lead, Essex County Council
- Shamala Gadgil, Senior Programme/Project Manager (Transport and Innovation), Coventry City Council
- Ian McKee, Head of Communications, ChargeUK
- Mark Constable, Head of Transport Policy, REA
- Jacob Roberts, Senior Policy and Strategy Consultant, Cenex
- Philip Baker, Media and Digital Communications Manager, Energy Networks Association
- Vicky Edmonds, CEO, EVA England
- Matthew Adams, Head of Electrical Transport Systems, BEAMA
Judges assess and score entries independently before a final face-to-face meeting, where shortlists and winners are agreed. There is no open recruitment to the panel, and judges have no commercial relationship with any entrant or category sponsor.
What that means in practice is your entry is read by people who understand the challenges you face and what delivery actually looks like.
An entry that demonstrates real-world impact will be recognised for exactly that reason – our judges know how hard it is to make change happen.
Entries are open now. Deadline: Monday 24 August.
