Amplify EV has been appointed as UK Service Partner for charging solutions company Chargepoly.
Chargepoly designs and manufactures high-power DC charging solutions specifically engineered for electric truck and bus fleets, with its hardware and software developed entirely in-house and already deployed across Europe and North America.
The company said the partnership is “another important step in our mission to support the UK’s transition to electric transport, by ensuring charging infrastructure remains reliable, available and ready to perform when operators need it most”.
It had been working on the deal for several months and was “delighted it is finally over the line and look forward to a successful long-term partnership.
The company have installed Chargepoly’s chargers in the UK, supported proposals for additional deployments, and worked on charge replacement projects.
Alongside these projects, Amplify EV has provided ongoing service and maintenance support across Chargepoly’s UK charging network, “helping fleet operators maximise uptime and ensuring critical charging infrastructure continues to perform across logistics, transport and public sector fleets”, it said.
Scott Johnstone, Technical Operations Director at Amplify EV, said:
“Chargepoly’s hardware is built for the demands of heavy-duty fleet charging, and that’s exactly the kind of infrastructure that needs a strong service layer behind it.
“Our job is to make sure operators never have to think about uptime, so they can focus on running their fleets.”
James Hubbard, UK Country Manager at Chargepoly said:
“Partnering with Amplify EV strengthens our ability to support customers across the UK with responsive local service and maintenance.
“Together, we’re providing fleet operators with the confidence that their charging infrastructure will perform reliably throughout its lifecycle, enabling a smoother transition to electric transport.”
