Electric vehicle charging network owner and operator evyve has selected EV charging platform Monta to deploy its charging management system across evyve’s network of 350 charge points.

evyve is building a customer-centric network of rapid and ultra-rapid charging hubs designed to “make EV ownership easier and more convenient for everyone”, it said.

By integrating Monta’s operating platform, evyve will “gain the visibility, automation and operational control required to grow confidently and deliver a consistently high-quality charging experience for drivers across the country”, it added.

The partnership supports evyve’s focus on reliability-first operations as it expands charging at retail and leisure destinations, business parks and roadside locations nationwide.

It will see Monta provide charge point management software, including backend operations, driver-facing payment solutions, and roaming capabilities, enabling evyve to deliver a seamless, reliable charging experience whilst maximising operational efficiency and network performance.

James Moat, CEO of evyve, said:

“Selecting the right technology partner was critical to our growth strategy. Monta’s end-to-end platform gives us the operational efficiency, scalability, and reliability we need to deliver on our promise of fast, dependable charging for drivers across the UK.

“Their integrated approach to charge point management, combined with seamless roaming and real-time monitoring, means we can focus on expanding our network whilst ensuring every driver experience meets the highest standards.

“This partnership positions evyve to grow rapidly whilst maintaining the quality and reliability that sets us apart.”

Jon Evans, UK Market Lead at Monta, said:

“The UK’s charging landscape is evolving, with challenges around uptime, performance and real-time monitoring. By partnering with evyve, we are bringing together a forward-thinking operator with a platform designed to meet these demands, enabling a consistently dependable charging experience.”

“Our end-to-end system gives evyve the operational visibility and automation required to scale confidently, meet rising regulatory expectations and ensure every charge point performs at its best.

“This partnership is a strong example of how collaboration and intelligent software can raise the standard of public charging across the UK.”
