UK-based electric vehicle (EV) charge point operator Zapgo has revealed a strategic partnership with DC fast charger firm Alpitronic.

The company will deploy Alpitronic’s reliable and efficient chargers in destination locations around the UK in the first half of 2025, marking the start of a wider roll out of EV charging infrastructure between Zapgo and Alpitronic.

Alpitronic’s chargers aim to offer reliability, efficiency and design, with the partnership fulfilling Zapgo’s “commitment to drivers and investors alike to make EV charging truly accessible and reliable for all”, it said, and assisting the UK move toward meeting its net zero targets.

Ross Mabon, COO of Zapgo, said:

“Selecting Alpitronic as our charging partner was a decision based on their focus on innovation and reliability. Their advanced technology improves the charging experience for customers and supports our goal of a sustainable future.

“Together, we are facilitating the shift to electric mobility with fast, efficient charging solutions.”

Wolfgang Ademmer, CMO of Alpitronic, said:

“Engaging Zapgo and supporting them with the mission to provide charging in underserved areas of the UK was an easy decision.

“Alpitronic promotes emobility for all and Zapgo’s commitment to drivers aligns closely with our mission.”
