Charging firm InstaVolt has announced it will bring a new ultra-rapid charging hub to an upcoming Costa outlet in Kettering.

Set to open in February 2025, the facility will feature 12 ultra-rapid 160kW chargers, providing fast and reliable charging for electric vehicle (EV) drivers.

While their EV powers up, drivers will be able to visit the Costa Coffee store. The new hub is part of InstaVolt’s mission to support the growing number of EVs on UK roads by providing accessible, high-speed charging options.

Strategically positioned close to key road networks, the hubs aim to ensure drivers can charge with ease, making it a valuable addition to the local community and a key stop for long-distance travellers.

With InstaVolt’s chargers offering up to 160kW of power, EV drivers can spend less time waiting and more time enjoying their journey, it claimed.

Simon Smith, InstaVolt’s Chief Commercial Officer, said:

“We’re proud to bring our ultra-rapid charging technology to Kettering’s newest Costa Coffee site.

“This hub combines the speed and reliability that InstaVolt is known for with the comfort and convenience of Costa’s welcoming new location. It’s all about making EV travel easier and more enjoyable for drivers.”
