AA Business Services has launched its latest yellow paper which offers a strategic roadmap for businesses on how to use data and technology as mobility evolves.

Called Navigating the Future: How Data and Connectivity Can Help Provide Certainty for Businesses and Their Drivers, the paper comes as fleet managers are increasingly relying on connected vehicle technology to optimise fleet performance and efficiency, the AA Business Services said.

In particular, this applied to managers who operated light commercial vehicle (LCV) fleets in an “increasingly disrupted mobility landscape”, it said.

The launch coincides with the release of two new products for fleet management. The first is a vehicle health tool powered by Vixa, an innovation from AA X and HALO Insights. It uses The AA’s expertise and proprietary data to predict failure and recommend specific fixes to vehicle issues as they arise, minimising downtime.

In addition, an advanced fleet data aggregation platform from HALO Insights, developed by Drivetech, brings together data on telematics, fuel, accidents, and costs, providing fleet managers with an overview to optimise performance.

James Starling, director at AA Business Services, said:

“Businesses are searching for certainty in an era where change is the only constant.

“Our Yellow Paper dives into the risk factors that impact fleets and examines how connected technologies can help smooth the path forward.”

“At The AA, we are committed to staying ‘Always Ahead’ and supporting our customers through every mobility challenge.

“With the launch of Fleet Vehicle Health and HALO Insights, we are equipping businesses with the tools they need to pre-empt disruption and improve the management of their fleets. Data and connectivity are revolutionising the way fleets operate, and we’re proud to be at the forefront of this transformation.”
