Radius expands to 45 HVO sites
UK Fuels network operator Radius has reached 45 HVO sites in major expansion, providing one of the largest HVO network for fuel cards in the UK.
The move has been made to pave the way for greater HVO adoption, with the firm supporting customers on their journey to decarbonise supply chains by making low carbon fuels readily available on its network with existing fuel cards.
HVO is a sustainable alternative to diesel that is derived from vegetable cooking oils.
By only using waste products, not virgin crops, it is a highly sustainable fuel source that can help businesses reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90%.
Radius customers can also swap between diesel and HVO in pre-existing fleets, reducing the need for new vehicle purchases. Using HVO can also improve the engine lifespan of their business vehicles.
Customers can access HVO fuelling locations throughout the country, with sites predominantly just off motorways and major transport routes.
Jonathan Haseler, Chief Revenue Officer at Radius, said:
“This is only the start of what we’re predicting to be continued strong growth at Radius in offering our customers a choice of fuelling options. With the largest network of sites where customers can access HVO and more locations in the pipeline, we’re set to meet the growing demand for more sustainable options to diesel.
“By enabling a more sustainable future for customers whilst keeping them on the move as they make the transition, we hope to make a real difference to businesses who want to hit sustainability targets without big upfront costs.”
