Transport + Energy Forum announces 2024 date and new venue
This year’s T+E Forum will take place on 21 November in a new venue: Warwick Conferences, University of Warwick.
In its third edition, the Transport + Energy Forum will once more bring both sectors together to explore how to accelerate and execute a decarbonised future, mobilising senior representatives to collaborate across energy networks, fuel types, infrastructure and vehicles.
Taking the theme ‘Moving from action to delivery: fulfilling the transition to a decarbonised future’, this year’s Forum continues to track the evolution of decarbonisation, with sessions focused on The Conversation, The Delivery and The Future.
The programme is set to include a trade association takeover panel, Conversations with Councils networking, an under 30s panel discussion from a group of rising stars alongside sessions on the future of energy, the changing face of EV charging and the influence of market disrupters.
Alec Peachey, Editorial Director for Transport + Energy commented:
“We are excited to announce our fresh, new venue for the Forum this year, having outgrown our original location in Central Birmingham. Warwick Conferences is part of the University of Warwick, which reflects our work with WMG, a department at the university who we’ve allied with on our T+E Skills initiative. For delegates staying overnight, WMG will be lifting the lid on their key departments, with a tour of their innovation, manufacturing, apprenticeship and engineering facilities on the morning of Friday 22 November. Warwick Conferences offers a bright, contemporary space for our events, alongside impressive sustainability credentials.”
The Transport + Energy Awards will take place in the evening of the Forum, recognising the brightest and best projects, collaborations, tech solutions, innovation, individual and team achievements.
A limited number of fully funded delegate places are available for local authorities on application.
