Transport + Energy and the EV Rally are thrilled to announce a brand new partnership.

In the new alliance, Transport + Energy will become the Official Digital Media Partner for the EV Rally, supporting the event throughout.

Alec Peachey, Editorial Director, Transport + Energy comments: “Transport + Energy was established to support and collaborate with the two sectors. Our partnership with the EV Rally is a perfect match, as an event which draws the community across both sectors together, to put electric vehicles through their paces, showcasing the infrastructure which powers them.

‘’We are delighted to support the EV Rally as a professional event which brings attention to the incredible electric cars and vans which are now available, in a gruelling test of driver grit and stamina!’’

Colin Boyton, EV Rally Event Manager said: “With the rapid shift towards EV continuing to accelerate, never has there been a more important time for those responsible for generating sustainable energy to collaborate with those that use it. The EV Rally is designed to bring all of these things to light, and we are delighted that Transport + Energy have agreed to join the event as our Official Digital Media Partner, to help bring the piece to life.

He continued: “As providers of news, comment and features on key trends and developments in the transport and energy sectors, we felt that Transport + Energy were best placed to help us, and the teams involved, bring key issues to the attention of the wider sectors, and we’re looking forward to working with their team in yet another example of #collaboration.”

The EV Rally kicks off on 3 July in Cardiff. Participants will travel from Cardiff to Dublin, via London, Edinburgh and Belfast… all in 5 days! This has never been done, on a scale that will see around 50 all-electric motorcycles, cars, vans and trucks drive in excess of 1200 miles, carrying people, luggage and cargo.
