Bus Service Operators Grant now includes Zero Emission Bus incentive

The Bus Service Operators Grant (BSOG) now includes the Zero Emission Bus (ZEB) incentive for the first time and operators who hold a zero-emission bus certificate for their vehicles will be subsidised at a 22p per km rate. The new grants will cover both new e-buses and repowered conversions.

£1.3 billion West Midlands transport investment programme confirmed

The Department for Transport (DfT) has confirmed a £1.05bn grant to transform road, bus, rail, tram, cycling and walking infrastructure across to the West Midlands, including investment in EV charging. The City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) money, topped up with local funding, will deliver £1.3bn investment over the next five years.
