Hydrogen could be used to power buses and other vehicles as part of hub plan

A new hub that is expected to produce enough hydrogen to help fuel a number of vehicles has moved a step closer after Aberdeen City Council and bp signed an agreement to form a joint venture partnership that will deliver a scalable green hydrogen production, storage and distribution facility in the city powered by renewable energy.

Hydrogen bus celebrates 5th anniversary saving 1000 tonnes of CO2

Since Wrightbus unveiled its groundbreaking hydrogen fuel cell technology at London City Hall on 30th November 2016, the company’s fleet of hydrogen-powered buses has prevented more than one million kilograms (1,000 tonnes) of harmful carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions entering the atmosphere.
