Taking the theme ‘Moving from action to delivery: fulfilling the transition to a decarbonised future’, this year’s Forum continues to track the evolution of decarbonisation, with sessions focused on The Conversation, The Delivery and The Future.
Up to 300 delegates are expected, including 60 qualified local authority delegates who attend on fully funded places.

Event Format
A packed, day-long agenda, includes a variety of key speakers from transport, energy and beyond.
Cabaret style, 10 seat table set up encourages interaction and promotes collaboration. The agenda has built-in networking breaks to promote discussion amongst delegates and sponsors as well as audience participation through debate and Q&A sessions during the onstage content.

We offer 60 fully funded places to qualified representatives from local authorities who are in a role which is focused on the decarbonisation of transport, including energy, infrastructure, planning and highways. This guarantees a high level of decision-making delegates from local authorities who are setting the agenda for decarbonisation in their communities. The fully funded local authority ticket includes optional overnight accommodation and a ticket to the awards on the evening of the Forum.

How to get there
Getting there: The University of Warwick is situated four miles from Coventry City centre at the hub of the Midlands motorway network.
The forum and awards are taking place at The Slate, on the main University campus. If using a sat nav use post code CV4 7SH which will bring you to Scarman Road and then The Slate

Public transport
Coventry Railway Station, approximately four miles from the campus, is the nearest main-line train station to the University. There is a taxi rank located at the Station and on Central Campus.
There are regular bus services to the University Campus from Coventry City Centre and Coventry Railway Station, with the journey taking approximately 30 minutes. The stop for Central Campus is the University of Warwick Bus Interchange. Birmingham International Airport is approximately 20 minutes from Campus by car. There is a taxi rank at Birmingham International Airport. The railway station at Birmingham Airport is Birmingham International. During weekdays trains depart from Birmingham International to Coventry Rail Station on average every 10 minutes. The journey takes between 10-15 minutes.

New categories for 2024 will reflect the changing face of decarbonisation across the two sectors and will include best energy network collaborations, best EV and best destination charging networks.
