Lowri Williams is Transport Practice Manager at Energy Systems Catapult, where she leads the team exploring how the transition to cleaner transport will affect the UK energy system, and the infrastructure, policy and market changes needed to support it. Lowri specialises in whole-system transport and energy analysis, with experience spanning cars, vans, heavy goods vehicles and maritime transport. Lowri has led major projects including eFREIGHT 2030, UK-India Innovating for Transport and Energy Systems and previously supported the EV Energy Taskforce. Over her time at the Catapult she has worked with and supported government, innovators, fleet operators, vehicle manufacturers, charging providers, electricity networks and research partners in the UK and internationally. Current work includes Future Fleet, exploring scalable, grid-compatible fleet charging and the role of smart charging, storage and other technologies in supporting HGV electrification.
