Amy Rushton is a Senior Project Manager for Suffolk County Council’s Environment Strategy Team, currently leading the Plug in Suffolk programme – an initiative to help residents and communities transition to EVs, funded through the Department for Transport’s ‘Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Fund’.  Prior to this, Amy was Head of Business Development at Suffolk Wildlife Trust. Originally an archaeologist, her project management career has been anchored in her ability to secure multi-million pound grants for local government and non-profits.  A keen walker and cyclist, she is passionate about sustainability and removing petrol and diesel cars from the road network.
