Matt is the Head of Electrical Transport Systems at BEAMA where he leads on a number of critical areas for BEAMA members like the Smart and Secure Electricity System Framework, and runs a number of taskforces and working groups designed to improve safety and awareness of standards and protocols. BEAMA more widely shapes the development of domestic and international standards, policy and regulations as well as supporting its members in guaranteeing their involvement in the industrial strategy, circular economy and net zero. 

Before BEAMA Matt previously worked at the REA where he led their transport team supporting the public, private and fleet sectors develop for EV charging and notably helped the development of cross pavement solutions in the UK and produced industry leading papers on cyber security, fleet electrification, installation barriers for public charging and skills. Prior to this Matt worked for Drax where he supported on policy development for Drax EV.
