Opcharge secures multi-million funding

Dutch firm Opcharge has secured a €32 million investment which it hopes the funding, from IBS Capital Allies Corporate Finance, will allow it to expand its network of stations at both a national and international level.

BEVs added to AA vehicle fleet

Global mineral solutions firm Imerys has purchased an 80% stake in British Lithium in a deal which sees Imerys’ expertise in mining, infrastructure, R&D, and lithium mineral resources, combine with British Lithium’s bespoke technology and lithium pilot plant, which recently produced battery-grade lithium carbonate.

APC forecast five million more EVs by 2030

The latest quarterly demand report from the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) highlights an increase in global battery demand forecast to 3306 GWh (gigawatt hours) with five million more battery electric vehicles projected globally by 2030.

XPO use HVO for Tour de France

Logistics firm XPO will provide a fleet of 34 trucks for the Tour de France which will be run entirely on biodegradable hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO).
