Odigo Verve, a new independent mobility and sustainability service, has launched with a simple ambition: to make choosing an electric vehicle (EV), a salary sacrifice scheme, or the right way to fund a car “feel exciting rather than overwhelming”.

Founded by automotive and fleet specialists Debbie Chaplin (Emsworth) and Matt Hawkins (Newcastle upon Tyne), who have worked together for six years, spearheading the launch of Polestar UK and more recently in the eLCV world with Flexis, Odigo Verve was created to fill a gap the founders saw throughout their careers: most advice in the market comes from someone selling a car, a lease or a finance product.

Odigo Verve has no preferred provider and no predetermined answer. It starts with what the client is trying to achieve, explains the options and trade-offs, and leaves them with the knowledge to confidently make a decision.

In their previous roles, Debbie and Matt were given freedom and autonomy to make the move to electric easier for customers, and they always worked as if the business were their own. Odigo Verve is their chance to do exactly that, in a business that truly is.

For employers, Odigo Verve provides employee EV education and engagement, salary sacrifice and car benefit guidance, and wider mobility, fleet and sustainability support, helping organisations introduce or improve schemes their people actually understand and use.

For individuals, it offers straightforward guidance on vehicle and mobility choices, how salary sacrifice and other funding routes work (PCP, hire purchase, personal contract hire and cash), and practical EV and home charging advice.

Debbie Chaplin, Co-founder, Odigo Verve, said:

“At Polestar and Flexis we were trusted with the freedom to make going electric easier for people and organisations, and we always worked as if the business were our own. Now it is. Odigo Verve lets us keep doing what we love: being genuinely on the customer’s side and helping them get where they want to go.”

Matt Hawkins, Co-founder, Odigo Verve, said:

“Done well, salary sacrifice and going electric can be a real win for employers and their people but we know that many companies are struggling to introduce or effectively promote a scheme. We’re here to make sure it’s done well, with independent, whole-of-market guidance that turns a confusing decision into a confident one.”
