Royal London Asset Management Property has partnered with The EV Network (EVN) to design, build, operate and maintain EV charging hubs across a portfolio of 18 retail park sites across the UK.

EVN was selected following a competitive tender and were able to demonstrate a proven ability to deliver complex, multi-site projects through a flexible end-to-end delivery model combining development, construction, operation, and long-term service and maintenance.

The partnership will run over a 20-year term with the delivery of the first energised sites expected in Q2 2027. The majority of charging hubs will feature Alpitronic ultra-rapid 300 and 400 kW chargers providing convenient, high-quality charging facilities for customers.

The sites are expected to support a range of EV charging operator partnerships across the network delivering reliable and accessible charging experiences, it added.

The project forms part of Royal London Asset Management Property’s ongoing strategy to enhance the long-term value and sustainability of its retail assets, ensuring its properties are equipped to support the growing demand for electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Syzygy Consulting helped advise Royal London Asset Management Property.

Clare Andrews, Investment Manager, Royal London Asset Management Property, said:

Stephanie Walker, Managing Director, Real Estate of The EV Network, said:
