Evolt Charging has been named certified service provider for Siemens electric vehicle (EV) charging hardware.

The move brings maintenance support for Siemens public and private chargers across the UK, and will see Evolt’s engineers – certified following training at Siemens Power Academy – service equipment at every site.

Siemens has also tested and confirmed the compatibility of Evolt’s CatStrap, an EV Cable Protector for use with its hardware, and which offers effective and approved anti-cable theft protection.

The announcement marks a step in Evolt Charging expanding its UK-wide service and maintenance capabilities to support a broader range of OEMs EV charging hardware, “enabling its teams to deliver greater coverage, flexibility, and technical capability across the UK’s fast-growing electric vehicle charging infrastructure”, it said.

Siemens is the first in a series of manufacturers that Evolt is set to support, expanding its ability to deliver a comprehensive, multi-brand support model for charge point operators (CPOs) and local authorities nationwide, it added.

Thomas Macaulay, Service Director at Evolt Charging, said:

“We’re incredibly proud to become a certified servicing provider for Siemens. This collaboration represents an important step in our mission to deliver exceptional service and reliability across the UK’s EV charging networks.

“Our team has undergone in-depth training with Siemens to ensure we maintain the highest standards of technical excellence at every site we support.”
