UK-based EV charge point operator Zapgo has become the latest partner of the Transport + Energy Awards this year.

As part of the partnership, Zapgo will support and participate in next month’s Transport + Energy Forum, including sponsorship of a category at the T+E Awards 2025, as well as provide ongoing content and advertising support.

Zapgo is supporting the Best Accessibility Strategy/Project Award at the T+E Awards this year. The category reflects the increased focus on accessibility of EV charging sites and infrastructure, with the award recognising a company that is leading the way in this area, through the introduction of accessible sites, infrastructure and a defined strategy to make accessibility business as normal. Finalists for 2025 include Believ, Smart Charge, and Osprey Charging Network

Zapgo is focused on delivering rapid and reliable EV charging to local destinations. With a growing network of charging hubs, it is expanding quickly, installing chargers at handpicked destinations and working closely with businesses and landowners. These hubs are providing a seamless charging experience, while creating new revenue opportunities for businesses across the UK.

Committed to making the green transition both accessible and affordable, Zapgo is helping deliver EV charging to communities that need it most. Zapgo is not only supporting the UK’s green transition but also helping drive footfall and economic activity for its partners. Whether it is garden centres, leisure centres, or community hubs, it is proud to deliver EV charging infrastructure where it’s needed most.

Speaking about the partnership, Alec Peachey, founder and editorial director of Transport + Energy said:

“We are delighted to welcome Zapgo to our community of partners. Zapgo is a crucial part of the EV CPO landscape, and will bring their global expertise to Transport + Energy in terms of content, comment and participation in our Forum and Awards.

“We are excited about the coming months and working with their team. Regular users and subscribers to Transport + Energy will see advertising, content and profile for Zapgo on the website, alongside their participation at the Awards.”

Neil Mahapatra – CEO Zapgo, said:

“Accessibility and reliability are at the heart of everything we do at Zapgo. We believe that the transition to electric mobility must be inclusive, ensuring that everyone, regardless of location or circumstance, can benefit from dependable charging infrastructure.

“Supporting the Best Accessibility Strategy/Project Award reflects our commitment to building a network that truly works for all. We’re looking forward to working closely with Transport + Energy to help raise awareness of our ongoing activities and shared mission to make EV charging accessible to all.”
