Field Dynamics has launched an intelligence platform to enable charge point operators (CPOs) and investors plan, expand, and optimise electric vehicle (EV) charging networks.

Called MetriX, the technology builds on Field Dynamics’ experience working with network operators and more than 200 local authorities, delivering it to the wider market.

Built on Field Dynamics’ data and modelling technology, MetriX integrates location intelligence, EV adoption scenarios, and network performance metrics into a single, intuitive platform delivering instant, data-driven answers to critical investment and deployment questions.

For CPOs, MetriX enables on-demand evaluation of potential sites, compares site performance, and supports investment cases with robust evidence. CPOs can quantify asset performance through utilisation data, catchment demographics, and
energy demand scenarios.

In addition, they can benchmark operators and portfolios with standardised, evidence-based metrics; accelerate planning and rollout cycles by replacing fragmented datasets and manual analysis with a unified digital model; and assess growth potential using localised EV adoption forecasts, infrastructure readiness data, and competitive landscape analysis.

For Investors and Advisors, MetriX allows them to compare portfolio performance across sites and regions, identify emerging hotspots; shorten due diligence cycles with standardised, comparable insights; and focus capital where can deliver greatest long-term impact.

Craig Stephenson, Managing Director of Field Dynamics, said:

“MetriX bridges the data gap between financial stakeholders and operators, giving everyone a single source of truth about where EV infrastructure is working and where to invest next.

“It simplifies decision-making, cuts planning time, and gives operators the intelligence to roll out networks faster and smarter.”
