Transport + Energy, organisers of the brand new forum for fleet owners and operators has revealed more details of the event and a list of 12 speakers who are confirmed to take part in this exciting new event, which will unite transport and energy professionals from the public and private sectors, to help accelerate decarbonisation of fleets.
Confirmed speakers include Lorna McAtear from National Grid, James Brown from Energy Saving Trust, Ben Garner from Tarmac, Duncan Webb from The AA, Anda Baumerte from West Yorkshire Police, Faizan Ahmed from First Bus, Chris Demetriou from the London Borough of Islington and Mike Nugent from Hitachi NetZero.
“We have been overwhelmed by the response to our event launch, with some of the industry’s most influential players agreeing to take to the stage during our day-long event in July,” commented Alec Peachey, Founder and Editorial Director of Transport + Energy.
“We are following the established format for this forum which we adopt for our other annual event, using a mix of keynotes, TED style talks, panels, roundtable networking sessions and interactive polls, with plenty of networking and audience participation. This formula has proved highly successful, along with the participation of top-notch speakers and session chairs.”
In another reflection of the T+E Forum format, around one third of the delegate places will be filled by fully funded representatives from the public sector who have specific responsibility for fleet decarbonisation projects and initiatives.
The event is supported by FORS, EVA England, Energy Saving Trust, ChargeUK, REA, Climate Group, BVRLA, Cenex and FairCharge.
The organisers are offering a 10% early bird discount on all delegate places booked before 25 April.
