The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) has called on local authorities to complete a survey which will help inform guidance around electric vehicle infrastructure.
One of the barriers faced by councils in implementing EV charging infrastructure is a lack of authoritative guidance on the subject.
OZEV have commissioned the IET to produce an EV Infrastructure Guide for local authorities. This guide will offer guidance on the full process of installing EV infrastructure.
IET have now drafted a page of contents for the guide but before proceeding further OZEV want to make sure that it covers all the topics needed by authorities regardless of their size, geographical location or experience of EV infrastructure to date. You can see the draft table of contents here, and below a link to a short survey.
OZEV have included some questions on your local authority to try and understand if responses differ by location and experience of EV charge points. OZEV would like authorities to complete the survey by 12th February.
