Charging firm Gridserve and motorway service station operator Moto have announced two new electric charging “Super Hubs”.
The new hubs, located at Moto Washington North and South on the A1(M), are now open with both offering six 350kW-capable high-power chargers.
Each hub features both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors and accepts contactless payment as well as providing real-time status updates on a number of EV charging maps. The chargers are powered by 100% net-zero carbon energy from the company’s hybrid solar + battery farms. Since 2021, the partnership has delivered more than 320 EV charging points with 142 of those being high-power – across 18 locations.
