Electric vehicle (EV) charge point operator (CPO) Believ has announced a partnership with pub and hotel operator Marston’s to expand its EV charging network.
The partnership sees a long-term collaboration between the two brands, with the first installations expected to go live in late 2026.
Marston’s currently has one of the largest rapid and ultra-fast EV charging network in the UK pub sector, with 542 chargers across 195 sites.
The new partnership with Believ marks the next phase and will deliver a mix of charging speeds tailored to different dwell times, including Standard, Standard Plus and Ultra-Rapid charge points. At least one accessible charging bay will be included at participating sites.
The project will be fully funded by Believ, with the CPO providing an end-to-end service covering site assessment, design, installation, operation and ongoing maintenance.
Since 2018, Marston’s EV-enabled pubs have charged enough power to keep vehicles on the road for more than 150 million miles, while saving over 33,600 tonnes of CO2, with every charger powered by renewable energy.
